This Strength and Conditioning routoine aims to not only build a classic physique through Silver Age Bodybuilding methodology, but also improve throwing dynamics while simultaniously testing your progress against Army Fitness standards throughout time. 

 

Itinerary 

 

This program is seven weeks in duration with five sessions per week. Four of these sessions are whole body strength days and one is Army Fitness testing and throwing exercises. These sessions are also done as an A/B split, meaning that weeks one, three, and five are the same and weeks two, four, and six are the same. Week seven breaks the mold as a deload week, allowing your body a rest after six grueling weeks. At the end of this program, repeating from week one is a very viable option. 

 

Equipment

Normal gym equipment will suffice for this routine. Barbell, dumbbells, a kettlebell of moderately light weight, resistance bands, sled, and medicine balls will all be utilized.
